How can dance enhance and reveal new bodies of knowledge with(in) natural history museums through the creation of performance scores and listening practices that challenge and reorient our relationship to animate/inanimate and living/nonliving materials in the museum? Alivenesses was a multi-phased research process resulting in a series of scores and maps designed for museum goers. The creative methodology developed in this research process is informed the interdisciplinary research process of Meandering River. |

A traveling performance beginning at the Pioneers Museum and arriving at the US Olympic and Paralympic Museum featuring a large number of community participants. This project was ambitiously constructed in a period of 6 days. |
