A collaborative choreography for dancers and robots which asks, “What can an aesthetic dialogue between dancers and robots reveal about the capacity of both human and nonhuman bodies to feel, think, and connect with the world through movement?” This series of four short dances, crafted in collaboration with dancers and robotics engineers and set to a lush score by Terence Clark and John Arndt, explores how we might relate to the rapidly evolving world of NOW. The strange, creature-like machines in this piece offer a playful invitation to reflect on our interactions with technologies that increasingly shape our lives. Created in collaboration with UI Engineering assistant professor Deema Totah.
