Jordan Gigout as Der Kleine Prinz/Herbert
Jordan Gigout (1993) is a dancer and dance notator working at the intersection of performance, writing, and speculative practices. Based largely in Germany, he has collaborated with institutions such as Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, Staatstheater Kassel, and the Folkwang Tanzstudio, and has worked as a freelance performer with Céline Bellut, Marlin de Haan, Carla Jordão, Marie-Lena Kaiser, Richard Siegal, Isabelle Wenzel, Johannes Wieland, and Sebastian Zuber. Since its creation in 2015, he has been a member of the FAKERS CLUB, a live-cinema public performance project directed by Stephanie Miracle. He holds a Bachelor in Dance from the Folkwang University of the Arts and is an alumni of the German National Academic Foundation.
In 2024, he began his Master’s in Dance Notation and Choreography Writing at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, focusing on Kinetography Laban. His research considers dance notation as a space for ethical reflection and narrative invention—where writing is not just a tool of preservation, but a creative act that shapes how dance is remembered, shared, and imagined. By drawing on speculative practices, he repositions the notator as a storyteller and active agent in choreography’s evolving landscape.

Maylis Sanchez, cinematographer
Maylis is a film maker based in Toulouse.
For as long as I can remember, I have always seen the world through my prism of symbols and metaphors. I love the multi-dimensional aspect of film and the immense possibilities of universes that can be created. My research as a video artist is mostly directed around movement and body expression. Dance as an aesthetic conveys ideas, thoughts, and sometimes unspeakable feelings.
When I arrived in Berlin, I redefined my visual identity as a freelancer. I directed several experimental artistic films, collaborated with performers (musicians, dancers, circus), as well as audiovisual services at Berlinale for the french distribution company Epicentre Films. Currently, I work mainly in collaboration with choreographers and dancers. Body expression has always taken an important place in my video universe.
I have a passion for storytelling. In my films as in my life, I aim to create meaning. This is what led me to study cultural mediation and communication, where I discovered human sciences (sociology, psychology, anthropology), and the sciences of language.
These studies taught me how to connect people with artistic work and participate in creating meaning. This involves empathizing with the different types of audiences, understanding and providing them with the tools to appropriate and experience the piece of art.
